Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 3 ripe tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 10-12 cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream
  • 1 tsp GRIND PURE Shahi Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp GRIND PURE Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp GRIND PURE Matar Paneer Masala
  • Salt to taste

Method

    Soak the cashews in warm water, then blend into a smooth paste.

    Heat the butter and sauté the chopped onion until golden.

    Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.

    Stir in the cashew paste and all the GRIND PURE spices; cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Add a little water for gravy consistency and bring to a gentle simmer.

    Add the paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes.

    Finish with fresh cream and serve hot with naan or rice.
